The Passion of Jesus – from joy to suffering
The Passion we hear today and listen to again in the coming days speaks to every human heart. It is a story of pain and betrayal, of fear and silence, of courage, love, and obedience. Jesus shares fully in our human experience. He knows what it is to suffer. He shows us what it means to trust God even when the path ahead is dark and difficult.

The Mercy and Justice of God
The challenge for us is whether we can see ourselves not as the woman caught in adultery but as the person who is caught up in forgiveness.

New Life in Christ
Today we are all called to REJOICE as all together we celebrate NEW LIFE in CHRIST! In Him we are reconciled with the Father and with one another!

The call of Moses
Moses is confronted by the apparent contradiction of a bush being on fire but having no effect on the actual bush. This call and revelation of the divine name on Mount Sinai is one of the most theologically significant passages in the entire Old Testament.

This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. Listen to him.
It is so important for us if we are really to live happily as Christians that we try into listening to Jesus. He is the Son of God – listen to him!

First Sunday of Lent – stepping into the desert with Jesus
Lent is our own time in the wilderness, a season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, where we seek to deepen our reliance on God

The mouth speaks from the abundance of heart
What can we hear, what goes on in our hearts as we listen or read by ourselves? What wealth have we got inside us to make even our small world a better place?
