What is the Bible?

The Bible is a very important and special book in our faith that has lots of different stories in it about how to be kind, brave and full of love.

Stories like David fighting a giant, Noah building a huge boat or Jesus helping people in many ways.

These stories help us in our lives today to live like Jesus did when He was on Earth.

Why is the Bible important to Catholics?

The Bible is important because it helps us know how to live with love, kindness and faith.

The Bible teaches us about God and how much He loves us and how we should treat others.

We can turn to the Bible when we aren’t sure what to do and it reminds us that we are never alone as God is always with us and always present.
