First Holy Communion

Our First Holy Communion preparation is for children in years 3, 4 or 5 (in September 2026). You must be a Parishioner of Saint Benedict’s Parish. We aren’t able to accommodate families outside of the Parish, due to numbers, but your local Parish will be delighted to have you prepare with them. If you are unsure of your local one, you can email us (formation@ealingabbey.org.uk) 

One of the Main Requirements for Registering for First Holy Communion is that your child is a Baptised Catholic. If you are unsure, you can email us (formation@ealingabbey.org.uk) 

For registering at Saint Benedict’s – click on the Gold Square below which says ‘Register Here’ 

Note- when filling in the online form, make sure you go through all the pages by clicking next (otherwise we won’t receive your form).

We have a fee of £70 to cover the costs of the preparation. Below you will find a red square which says ‘£70 contribution’, just click on that to make your contribution. 

The contribution covers the digitalisation of the preparation, the Catechetical Coordinator’s role, the First Holy Communion Masses with the music and print out’s etc, and the family days we have as part of the preparation. 

sometimes parents want to contribute a little more to help our Catechetical team do even more to reach others. if you feel called to do this, then there is the option when you click on the red button.
