Mission, joy and peace

It’s a great reminder that success in spreading the good news isn’t measured by results or recognition, but by faithfulness. Being known and loved by God is our deepest joy. Sometimes we need reminding that we don’t have to earn God’s approval, his love is already given.

Come to the Lord, Come to the Spirit

And the reading from Revelation gives the final, hopeful word. It is Christ’s own voice saying: “I am coming soon… Let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.”

Prepare for the Second Coming

The “signs” are not necessarily dramatic, as in the Second Coming, and we can easily miss them. That’s why we need to “Stay awake! Be alert!”

The Feast of Christ the King

We acknowledge Christ as our King when we make four priorities: private prayer, the Mass and Confession, looking out for the needs of others and always acting in accord with our informed conscience.
