Newman Circle talk

A special Newman Circle talk on '50 and Beyond: finding hope and encouragement after hard knocks and when the churches may have let you down'

Dear Parishioner,

You are invited to join the Newman Association Ealing Circle for a talk by Professor Davis titled 50 and Beyond: finding hope and encouragement after hard knocks and when the churches may have let you down.

Thursday 22nd February 2024 7:30pm in the Newman Chapel of Ealing Abbey.

Our speaker is Professor Francis Davis from the Department of Theology and Religion at the Unversity of Birmingham.

Professor Davis is a social and political scientist. His recent projects have focused on complex community and cross-reliious challenges centred around  enterprise and poverty reduction. He has frequently acted as a ministerial advisor to the UK Government,  several Bishop’s Conferences and the FCDO on religion. He has also acted as an NHS Trust non-executive. An ideal spokesperson to help us to  try and make sense of contemporary social and political affairs.
