Fr Timothy and St Barbara protect HS2 workers

Dear Parishioner,

On 4th December, the Feast of St Barbara, Fr Timothy travelled to North Acton to bless two statues of St Barbara. The statues were then placed in tunnels. This strange-sounding behaviour is part of an ancient ritual carried out in tunnels the world over.

Followed by a bring and share Pentecost Social Gathering in the Hall. Bring your favourite dish from your country as we join together as a Parish to celebrate the diverse cultures of the Parish and share a meal for Pentecost.
