Welcome to our Advent and Christmas Page of 2024.
We are in the season of Advent, which comes from the Latin word ‘Adventus’ meaning arrival, where we prepare ourselves for the arrival of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We have a number of events on this page to help you with your preparation.

Advent Retreat with Holy Hour
9:15 Mass followed by Holy Hour 10:00-11:00
11:15 talk on the theme of ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ led by Abbot Martin in the Newman Chapel
Soup and Sandwiches after for those who signed up

Gurnell Grove Christmas Fair
4:30pm-7:30pm. Fun for all the family! Gurnell Grove Estate,
Ealing W13 0AH.
Donkey rides, Christmas lights, stalls, refreshments. FUN WINTER FAIR in our community. All welcome!
Saturday 14th December
Carols by Candlelight
Ealing Abbey Choir & Orchestra will perform the annual Carols by Candlelight concert.
Features music and readings for Christmas in the Abbey at 7:30pm.
Advance booking is strongly recommended.

‘Ozsak’
Procession of the Three Kings
The Procession of The Three Kings will take place on Sunday 12th January 2025.
Meet in Dickens Yard , by Christ the Saviour Church in Ealing Broadway at 12.30 for a 1pm punctual start, followed by a walk to Ealing Abbey, where on the steps a Holy Family will be waiting . The Kings will present their gifts on the steps, followed by a short religious service in the church.
Please note the Parish Office is closed from 12:30pm on the 20th December and opens on the 2nd January at 9:30am.
