God has no favourites

So when Peter says God has no favourites, how do we understand that? How do we really feel about it? Do we truly believe it?

Jesus nut

An old school friend of mine is an aircraft engineer, he told me once, that a single hexagonal nut holds the whirling rotors of a helicopter in place. That nut is nicknamed the ‘Jesus nut.’

The point there was that the two travellers who met Jesus along the way only came to understand Jesus in the eucharistic encounter, ‘how they [had] recognised the Lord in the breaking of bread’.

Noli me tangere

When she knows it really is Jesus he says to her the mysterious words – Noli me tangere, ‘do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father.’
